New 2025 Brute Force 450: Built for what drives you

For 2025, the popular Kawasaki ATV range is boosted by the launch of a much anticipated mid-range machine, the Brute Force 450.

Offering an idealised balance of physical size, performance and features, the Brute Force 450 joins the established and impressive Brute Force 750 plus the entry level Brute Force 300 -  in selected markets - to create a formidable Brute Force presence.

Ideally balanced between the lower capacity entry focused and upper level 750cc classes, the new Brute Force 450 offers the feature set, performance, and modern stylish looks customers demand from a mid-size four-wheeler.  Being part of the Brute Force family means a high level of Kawasaki build quality, durability, features, performance and the new 443 cm³  mid-size addition is no exception.

Offering class-leading horsepower from its refined 24.4 kW / 33.4PS engine, the equally refined and rugged chassis has the performance and base settings well-suited to day to day hard work and recreational use when required.  A comfort seat and handlebar-mounted light are just two indications of the thought that has gone into the design of Kawasaki’s new mid-weight ATV that also includes LED headlights plus a 3D emblem which forms a distinctive-looking front end. The overall tough, rugged, and modern appearance illustrates this model’s strong performance and practical intentions.

For many prospective purchasers, the beating heart of the Brute Force 450 will be a core point of interest. The liquid-cooled, shaft-drive, fuel-injected 4-stroke 443 cm3 motor is equipped with CVT transmission providing smooth, positive transitions from low- to high-speeds while an air-cleaner duct high on the chassis contributes to impressive wading ability.

Electrically selectable 2WD/4WD allows easy transition between drive systems to suit changing terrain and applications with 2WD offering light steering then 4WD offering enhanced traction and, finally, 4WD plus differential lock for maximum traction.

In terms of its state-of-the-art chassis, a solid, sturdy frame, which is supported by an optimised suspension and strong brakes, adds to a tough, capable character owners can rely on to offer years of faithful service.

The double cradle layout has the ideal rigidity for a middle-capacity four-wheeler being reinforced with extra-strong, optimally-shaped gussets, resulting in superb off-road handling. As example, the wide track (front: 910 mm, rear: 869 mm) contributes to a stable chassis platform while the tyre toe in/toe out alignment and camber achieve a satisfying balance of handling and chassis stability.

In terms of day to day needs, sturdy front and rear carriers can handle 34 kg (75 lbs) up front while the rear can support 68 kg (150 lbs). A 2-inch trailer hitch bracket comes as standard and offers a 476 kg (1,050 lbs) towing capacity and space to fit an accessory winch up to 2,500 lb capacity is available inside the front guard.

An independent suspension configuration is fitted with progressive rate springs delivering the best ride whatever the terrain or load while computer designed front and rear A arms and suspension knuckles also contribute to durability, reliability and excellent handling.

Braking duties are the responsibility of ø202 mm discs at the front complemented by single disc  at the rear. The hydraulic brake master cylinder, calipers and discs are optimised to offer a linear feel, while progressive braking power offers precision control.

Realising that the Brute Force 450 will be “on-demand” 24/7 by many owners, a number of convenient features are incorporated such as the handlebar-mounted LED light. The elevated positioning of the light expands the field of vision while being handlebar mounted means that the light is directional and in harmony with the rider.

Keeping the rider informed, the multifunction instrument panel is a back-lit LCD type that shows speedometer, tachometer, gear position indicator, fuel gauge, clock, odometer, hour meter, trip meter, differential Lock/4WD indicator, and a number of other indicator lights.

As time served innovators in the ATV sector, Kawasaki have carefully considered the current and future wants and needs of a diverse customer base positioning the new Brute Force 450 at an important focus point in both the 2025 Kawasaki range and also the marketplace.

Offering the same visual impact and durable yet rewarding ownership experience as the mighty Brute Force 750, the latest machine in the Kawasaki ATV range is poised and ready to take on all comers with a confidence underpinned by the hard-earned reputation of a long established and respected manufacturer.
