With mission accomplished for Gilles Stafler's team, the first test with the new DUNLOP tyres proved that the right choices were taken.
During two days, on March 8 and 9, the three riders Jérémy Guarnoni, Erwan Nigon and David Checa got a feel for the new tyres on track under sunny weather conditions in order to prepare the first round of the Endurance championship: the 24H of Le Mans.
In addition, the harmony between the three riders allowed them to work as efficiently as possible in order to reach the objective of this new season: the Endurance World Champion title!
The pre-season tests have the highest importance before the start of the championship. Gilles Stafler and his team worked hard in order to adapt and perfect the bike to the new tyres:
""We discovered the Dunlops for the first time and it was great considering the very low temperature of these two days. We managed to set excellent, consistent and regular lap times. We matched our best time of 2019. Jeremy is able to ride ten laps tr 1'36, whereas he had never ridden on Dunlops before. The riders feel a real potential in the Dunlops, and even after having done very good lap times, they think they can do better - this is very encouraging for the team ! When everybody targets the same goal, us as our partners, everything goes well. Even if the weather was not warm, we did not have any rain and I am very satisfied with these first tests".
