Three T-Cat compliant Brute Force 300 and 450 models for 2027
Enjoying success in the entry-level and mid-capacity ATV classes, Kawasaki’s Brute Force 300 and 450 models will now be offered in Europe for 2027 in T-Category (T-Cat) guise.
T-Cat classification allows these popular machines to be registered for, and used on, public roads, increasing not only the adaptability of these hard-working ATVs but also the number of daily tasks they can efficiently perform – a basic requirement for many commercial operators.
The core strength of the Brute Force 300 is its combination of a high-performing fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine with a CVT and centrifugal clutch. The result is strong, responsive power delivery and high controllability, together with natural engine braking.
Its Brute Force 450 sibling focuses on compactness: it is smaller than 750–800 cc rival four-wheelers, yet larger than entry-level ATVs and ready for tougher tasks.
The Brute Force 450 strikes the ideal balance between the two extremes while packing ample performance and a full suite of features. A separate Brute Force 450 EPS model, with Electric Power Steering, is also available, keeping it at the very forefront of its class.
And now, for 2027, all three models – the Brute Force 300, Brute Force 450 and Brute Force 450 EPS – are available with T-Cat equipment, which includes LED headlights and taillights plus built-in turn signals.
There is also a dedicated switch for the handlebar-mounted LED work lamp, allowing it to be turned on and off independently of the headlights. When the work lamp is on, the button lights up to remind riders not to use it while driving on public roads**.
A Speed Limiter Mode assists operators during work tasks. It is activated by a button below and to the left of the instrument panel; the button lights up when the mode is engaged.
Other T-Cat equipment on all three models includes a tow hook inside the front bumper, rear-view mirrors, a horn, hazard lights, a licence plate bracket and lamp, and a brake warning lamp above the instrument panel. Additionally, the exhaust system meets the relevant European noise regulations, and a trailer hitch and a connector for trailer taillights are fitted as standard.
With T-Cat specification now available across the Brute Force 300, 450 and 450 EPS in 2027, the appeal and usability of these hard-working and durable machines are set to increase even further.
