EnduroGP 2025: Bacon double Portugal victory

The curtain rose on the Enduro World Championship 2025 and the colours of the MGR Racing Team shone in Fafe, Portugal. Kyron Bacon dominated the Junior class with two impressive victories.

Under a grey and rainy sky, the EnduroGP World Championship got underway and the best enduro riders in Europe took the start in the three technical special. The rain made all three special tests truly gnarly with the fast Cross Test giving riders the opportunity to express their speed while the Enduro Test and Extreme Test highlighted their fine control skills.

Kyron Bacon was able to combine speed and technical precision, winning the Junior class on both days. If on Saturday the victory was uncertain until the end of the day, on Sunday the talented Australian left no room for his rivals. Precise, fast and consistent Kyron made the most of his Kawasaki KX300X at every opportunity.

Kyron Bacon:I had a really solid weekend in Portugal. I'm happy to get through the weekend with not so many mistakes considering how tough and sketchy the tracks were! It was nice to get some solid points to start the season and I'm looking forward to Spain.”
