New 2027 Kawasaki motorcycles at EICMA plus “new mobility category” CORLEO RMV
The much-anticipated “first see” of a wealth of new 2027 Kawasaki motorcycles at the EICMA international motorcycle show in Milan is being further boosted by the presence of an extra hydrogen-powered showstopper.
CORLEO is a futuristic Robotic Multi-legged Vehicle (RMV) representing just one aspect of Kawasaki’s future vision for personal mobility. And, unlike the vast majority of concept vehicles, CORLEO is being developed for full production and retail.
CORLEO combines the off-road performance made possible by four-legged robotics with the manoeuvrability and stability Kawasaki has cultivated through more than half a century of innovative motorcycle technology and manufacture.
With Japanese Kawasaki staff in attendance to explain the challenges and virtues of CORLEO, the chance to experience this amazing RMV up close is just one highlight of the booth.
Tommaso Telaro, Deputy Branch Manager of Kawasaki Motors Italy, commented: “Many visitors to Kawasaki booth N46 in Hall 11 will come to see the new 2027 models and experience the latest colours and features up close, including the world public premiere of the Versys 900 and KLE650. For off-road fans, there is much anticipation for the two-stroke, fuel-injected KX327. On our busy booth, visitors can also see the KLE500 Smartride for the very first time, plus the new Ninja 650 and the awesome Ninja H2 Carbon – but that is only a small, yet significant, part of what the booth will offer.”
Supporting Telaro’s comments are not just an array of first-see new models and colours across established and emerging Kawasaki brand families, but also a Kawasaki booth shop selling 2027 Kawasaki merchandise plus WorldSBK and MXGP apparel and the ever-popular Sports Range of clothing.
Racing machinery will naturally be on display, including a championship-winning KX machine and Ninjas direct from the WorldSBK and World Sportbike paddocks.
This being Italy, it is only natural to expect bimota to have a dedicated area. At EICMA, the company will show its entire 2027 range, including the BX450 off-roader and the new KB399, alongside a new bimota smartphone app.
“It’s been a welcome challenge to fit so much into one booth”, concluded Telaro. “People quite rightly expect Kawasaki to be a show highlight, and we can promise that this year, with so many new motorcycles and the presence of CORLEO, our booth will be among the most visited and most popular. We look forward to welcoming customers and friends, old and new!
